Most tuners are set up in a very user friendly fashion that allows you to go in and set right where you want it to be. I've done some math on this already, and if I were you I wouldn't go over 5750 RPM. In a stock GT, torque drops off after 4000 RPM, and HP drops after 5250 +/- 50 RPM. Stock Rev limiter setting is 5750 I believe (could be wrong) but from doing a shift point formula for the stock set up, I definately wouldn't go over 5900 RPM's without risking serious damage to the engine.
