4.10s install

Ok just got the 4.10 kit from LMS (1986-12 Mustang 8.8" 4.10 Ratio Rear End Gear Kit with Ford Racing Gears at LRS - Free Shipping!)

Is there any good instructions out there to look off? My dad and I are going to change them out some weekend.

I would recommend a professional install. You need to be spot on with backlash. It took my speed shop 4 hrs labor and saved me the hassle.

I definetely agree, a mustang rearend is not like a chevy 10 bolt that u can just slap together, have it done at a shop that way you dont have to worry about failure later. I love my 4.10 gears it will wake it up for sure

I agree 100%, have a shop do it. That way you will not be disappointed.

Re: 4.10s install

if you have never done it, then dont learn on your car as the mistakes basically mean replacing them....

whine and other issues can happen and are VERY VERY annoying if not damaging.
