I'm about to have to buy a new set of tires.. :/ Any recommendations? I don't really mind the price too much. But I need good life out of them. I'd love to have some Nittos, but idk. Just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks!
I personally have nitto 555 up front and 555r in the back...summer only car though. I did take her out in the cold rain (light rain) last week to blow her out and even though the radial spun (keep in mind i was blowing her out)I was able to keep really good control of it. Under normal driving I didn't even spin the radialsKATO said:I'm running Nexxen "Staggered", on my Mustang and Dunlap SP Max on my Camaro. The Dunlap did not come in the Staggered sizes, they are a little pricy, but a good, good riding tire. The Nexxen are great, no complaints at all and look "Hot as Hell".
Interesting... I'm prolly gonna do Nittos. You think 555s all the way around would work? What's the life of them?2002VertGT said:I personally have nitto 555 up front and 555r in the back...summer only car though. I use to have nitto 555s all the way around and a set of 555R for track and I loved them. Great for everyday running around. Lasted me almost 28k miles. Probably would of lasted longer if I didn't burn em up all the time.98StangKid said:Interesting... I'm prolly gonna do Nittos. You think 555s all the way around would work? What's the life of them?
Awesome! Lol. I think that's what I'm gonna do! And are the 555s as sticky as I hear?GT04 said:I use to have nitto 555s all the way around and a set of 555R for track and I loved them. Where in Louisiana are you and what size do you need. I can get you some pretty good prices, and can go over different tires with you to see what would work best for you.98StangKid said:Imma do it then. Lol.
I'm in West Monroe. And I'm looking for some 245/45/17s. That would be greatly appreciated. Lol. Honestly. Thanks.DarkShadows said:Where in Louisiana are you and what size do you need. You should be able to do at least up to 275/40 on the sock rims...I have 315/35/17...but mine are on 10" rims98StangKid said:And can I fit bigger tires on the back with my same rims? Not too much bigger. But just a little bit.
And why's that? Just asking.Rm360 said:My choice is bf Goodrich gforce kdws awesome tire
Well how do I know if they're stock, I know that sounds stupid, but I have 17" Cobras(I guess?). Anybody know the dimensions?2002VertGT said:You should be able to do at least up to 275/40 on the sock rims...I have 315/35/17...but mine are on 10" rims
