Gauges

What would the best gauges i should get. I want to get Ford Racing gauges, however, i dont know what I want to gauge?! I dont have a turbo or SC and its a 4.6 98 V8. Any suggestions??

I went with Glow Shift guages because you can choose between 7 different back light colors. I chose to guage oil temp, water temp, fuel pressure, and transmission temp. I really like the Glow Shift guages.

Alright alright! I want orange gauges to match my interior. At least orange glow, or deep blue glow. Im thinking water temp, oil temp, and is there a gauge for HP? I would love to know how much im puttin out at a time

No theres not a gauge for HP... BUT. I'm sure with enough money and a dyno session you could probably get a gauge to tell you the horsepower you're putting out at a given rpm based off the dyno, although I've never heard of anyone making anything like this.

Yea that seems like it could work! Wouldnt be To difficult either! Just have the computer tell the gauge at a given rpm in the given gear what im pushing!

Never heard of this either but it would be cool! Just remember though that the littlest change in air temp, air pressure, barometric pressure, elevation, and even the age of the spark plugs, plus countless other factors all go into the output of horsepower. I don't think a gauge would be very accurate. But it would be super cool!

Oh for sure man.. maybe its not a good idea! but i wish there was a gauge for it! ill invent one someday! Specifically for Mustangs.

+1 - you do realize we have Mustangs right? at most worth $20,000 for a Really nice one in this year... at most 50,000 for newer models!
