Does anyone have CMS (old VT) Stage 1 N/A cams? I'm wondering if anyone has used these with stock valve springs? And how hard would the can swap be? Do I need to degree these cams?
I know exactly what try recommend, but I'm just wondering if I trust the stock valve springs. I was looking for some proof. And some opinions on how these cams sound in real life as apposed to YouTube if anyone does have them.

If it was me. I'd recommend just upgrading the springs while u already have it all apart.. But Thts just me. I'd rather do it all at once instead of Doin it twice bc u didn't upgrade them. And one broke or somethin..
They shouldn't break, but of course you never know. If I upgrade the springs and retainers, then I'll get a stage 2 cam, but doing the springs is too big of a job for me right now and labor goes way up to have it done at a shop, not to mention I would have to spend more money on the springs. Basically if I hear people have had problems with these cams and stock springs, I'm just not gonna do it cause I can't afford to do it with springs right now.
Ya I understand tht. I'm in the same boat.. I want the stage two comp cams but I knw I'll have to get springs and retainers so I'm waitin to get it all. So I knw for sure nothin will break.. Better to be safe then sorry.
Ya me to. Tht would be great. But I guess we will have to take what we can get lol
