Carbs require constant attention and tuning. Even NASCAR is using EFI now.

+1... That carb setup is going to drive you mad... production cars are all EFI now for a reason. Better off investing elsewhere.

Re: Carborated 04 mustang

Unless you are building a drag racer, there is very little reason to go to a carburetor..

For economy, consistency and power, the single biggest improvement in modern cars is EFI...

There is nothing wrong with carburetors, on a lawnmower....

You are a wise man sir, carbs are for hillbillies that can't afford a decent efi setup, there is NO advantage besides cost, and you can't even say carbs are easier anymore with plug and play self learning adaptive fuel injection systems, buuuut that intake works great with a set of aeromotive fuel rails and a fabbed 90 degree elbow mates to a 75mm t-body, kills your low end a little but mid and top end are great, flows like crazy and is perfect for direct port nitrous

Very much possible with efi, there are a few company's, professional products for example makes a TBI system to mimic the look and dimensions of a Holley 4150 carb, I just installed this set up on a 68' firebird pretty nice setup, please keep in mind I'm not trying to condescend you with this or be rude, I hope we can all use this forum as a tool to educate and help eachother in our common goal of bettering the most intimidating muscle car ever created by gods own hand... The FORD MUSTANG
