Yea i noticed a huge difference its like night and day, i was gonna go with 3.73s at first but i dont drive my car alot so i went with the 4.10, it just depends how u drive your car and how often you drive it, cant go wrong with either gear, its definetely my best mod

Re: which throttle to go with on 99 gt

I would only do a TB if you've done something with heads, cams, or valves. Unless you do that or get a supercharger/turbo, you don't really need it. It will give a minimum gain. Hope this helps.

Before you make your decision based on this read this post:

4.10 Gear Speed/RPM Video

I was gonna do 3.73 cause I almost dd mine in the summer, but while reading this post the rpm difference is 1-200 from 3.73-4.10. That's not alot, you will loose more mpg going from stock to 3.73 than you will from 3.73-4.10. And even going to 4.10 highway driving is only affected by 1-3(max) mpg. If you read that post the one guy says it best. Our cars should not be measured in MPG but rather in Smiles per gallon!!! More fun with 4.10....
