Just swapped my FPR-fuel pressure reg. and now my car idles all weird! Like it will go up to 1900 then drop to 1400 then almost die out, then when i give it a tiny bit of gas, it jumps to 2000 again about. Help?!
Check all vacuum lines and that maf and all hose clamps are tight
Try spraying some starting fluid around engine compartment to help find leak or disconnected line
it looks good now. its not doing that anymore.. however theres still a problem. When I drove it the other day, a coolant line popped off and sprayed my whole engine. steamed up and everything.. Now, after i filled the coolant tank of course, it will Sometimes start up just fine and then other times just turn over! I think the coolant hit a wire or something.. can you help me with that?
antifreeze doesnt evaporate well....so u may be correct. after the engine is warmed up, and while running... u may wanna take a hose and spray it off. just an idea
