If you dont increase the timing to the point where 93 is needed (to prevent detonation) then there is no point to run it. As with my car it had detonation (bad gas) so I just didnt run into the boost so it never advance the timing enough to need the extra octane.
Exactly! Spector= pro. So if you want to run 93 octane, then the tune will be advancing the timing to that point.

Im runnin a 91 race tune with basic bolt-ons, and i think it def improves the performance, my only complaint is the unusual noise i get at low rpms on acceleration, hard to explain the noise, but it sounds like a diesel, but after 2k it sounds fibe, i called AM, where i got it, and they said its normal
