Its to complicated to me and harder tune and not worth the money really a twin turbo is all you need the only place I've seen it done is on a 03-04 cobra

Only 700? Must not have had them cranked up very high. Saw a supra like that once that had over 1300. But honestly it isn't worth it at all. As said above the tuning is ridiculously hard and not worth it when a twin turbo will meet any needs you could ever have

Just weld on 30' wings on both sides of car, and let me know what happens after.

Hes saying that with That much power, might as well put wings on and fly around. Not spoiler wings or that crap.

been done many times, but generally you can make more power more easily without doing such things.

There is no power limit. But making 1500 hp on a street car I stupid. You wont be able to keep the tires planted, not even slicks lol. You go ahead and do it and I'll spank you with 600hp just bc my tires won't melt to the rim. On a street car, anything over 650-700hp is just for bragging rights..

Re: Supercharge and twin turbo

if you have pockets do it I guess.. but with that everything in the car will have to be bullet proof pretty much.. engine block and heads, transmission, rear suspension, rear end, brakes..then tires to stick. youd have to rebuild the whole car lol and then I only hope that beast is on a drag strip for everyone's ears. Ive heard cars like that incredibly loud.. but awesome

I could beat a 1500 hp car on a huffy if you can't plant the tires....like he said anything over 600-700 on the street is stupid. Build it for the track, tub it and put some wide slicks on there with like 5psi and spank a space shuttle for all I care but don't act stupid because they give their opinions.

Well duh if he cant plant his tires, but if he as any skill at all, he'll get traction, plus ive read about this new take off system that makes it impossible for wheel spin for up 2 1200hp

Re: Supercharge and twin turbo

seriously guys. this is dumb. all because some dude gets defensive about twin turbos and superchargers. IT WAS A JOKE when i said that he might as well get wings on and fly around! sure pushing 1000+ HP is cool. but with street level driving? why? Why not spend that money and keep it on the track? there is NO point to have that much power in a DD at least. and who the F*** cares about smart cars? this is a MUSTANG forum last time i checked, which means as soon as you bring That to the table, you become retarded. Like others said, when you have 1500 HP and i have 6-700 HP, guaranteed id rock your world. There is NO way you can take out wheel spin unless you start off in 3rd gear or just gently press down on the gas. whatever your reading that from, quit it. They're dumb. sure suspension helps Tremendously but if you have the SAME driver driving both vehicles, one a 700 HP and one 1500+ HP who do you think will pull faster and start stronger? your dumb if you think the 1500 HP will. they'll just be drawing on the pavement while the other dudes haulin ***. END OF DISCUSSION. for the record, NONE of us thinks superchargers and twin turbos are ricey. ok... maybe twin turbos mixed with some other ricey things, but Normally they would be Sexy as hell. bringing up that "we think they're to rice" makes you look like an idiot.

Hmm last I remember, my friends dad with only 800hp running 10.9s beat a guy running 8.2s on the streets... On D.O.T tires even. Those 8 second on the street cars also have the street well prepped for them, at least the first 60 feet anyways.

---------- Post added at 05:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:54 AM ----------

Ever heard of a hayabusa swap into a smart car? It's pretty common actually.

sorry, for one thing, its "You, Your, Be, saying, and done," how about you learn how to write before talking ok?. And Im not even the guy You were talking to beforehand! take a look! how about this. did he measure it out? what was the pavement like? did he get the Exact time with sensors and plates everywhere? how fast was he going when he hit it? what kind of tires? I believe people have done it, but for the sake of argument, ill need a video of a mustang with 1500+ HP (because thats what we're talking about) doing 7s on the street. Legit 7s. not counting in your head, or any of that crap.
