02 Extensions

I'm about to buy some LT headers and was wondering if I need to buy 02 extensions for the sensors that plug into the headers? Or can I use the mil eliminators that I have and plug those into the sensors that connect to my headers? If I do this, will the check engine light still be off?

And it would shut my check engine light off

You need the extenders. MIL eliminators are made to trick your computer to believe it has cats still and they go on the back o2 sensors. If you put them on the front ones you won't run right
