Re: Sway bar

I painted mine. Since the V6 didn't come with one but the holes were pre-drilled anyway I bought one for $40 and sanded it down first. Primer x 2-3 coats. Then gloss Red x 2-3 coats. Still looks nice to the day and its been about a year and a half.

I'll probably paint me sometime. Will it be okay to take off and put back on?

Re: Sway bar

Off course....as evident the V6 cars do not even come with them. I didn't really feel a difference installing one to tell you the truth. I'm sure it makes a difference during twisty roads and/or road racing, but for daily drivers and even a little racing here and there its fine. You can defintely drive without one without doing any harm. Easiest Install ever too. Two bolts on each side and then it slides up into the control arms = piece of cake.

Re: Sway bar

the only difference you need to look at is the diameter of the sway bar, no idea what yours is stock but... you probably can find a 96-98 cobra or 01 bullitt sway bar for cheaper if its bigger (and it might be not sure) or you can find a used one.

So it's just the diameter
