Actually there is surprisingly more space than I would've expected to have in the trunk
I built it mostly in the wheel well I can still fit about 150$ worth of groceries in the trunk
Yeah it is a bit smaller than it could be but I've seen smaller trunks in sports cars without woofers so I am ok with it
And with the covers on the subs I can lay stuff on top of them too
Plus right now I have all my tools in it and still room to put more stuff

Yeah over 100lbs!!!
each woofer has a 50lb magnet on the back and the amp is another 15lbs plus the wood for the box and the capacitor

But it evens out the weight for drifting with my friends a bit and allows for some more grip in the back but I know I'll never be the fastest so I went for nice balance and handling I've never been in a better handling Stang anywhere

I install systems but i ain't no carpenter lol. I had it built. Guy did a decent job on it. He put some aluminum behind the carpet and just cut the design out. Sounds simple but time consuming. I got nerve damage n my arm from my neck and back which came from Iraq so i ain't got a steady hand anymore lol

Ah I'm fortunate enough to have grown up with a big garage full of wood/metal working tools that no one knew how to use or cared much about
So I pretty much taught myself how to make boxes and fabricate pretty much anything I wanted or needed so when I got my first car the first thing I did was buy wood and sheet metal and electronics and started making custom everything
I even rebuilt the back of a boat with custom sub box and recessed amps and speakers I just love making stuff ppl would never expect
