Wheel offset question.

Hey guys and gals of the SN95 section. I have a quick question about wheel offset.

I have an S197 with factory 19x8" wheels. (might be 8.5 not 100% sure) that are being replaced. My mom has an 04 vert and I was thinking about letting her have the wheels and tires if she wants them, but I'm not sure they will fit properly.

Like I said, I'm not 100% sure on this but they would have too large of an offset, meaning they stick out of the wheel well, correct?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Re: Wheel offset question.

two issues, the offset makes it so they sit in more but they should work, spacers can fix this for sure

second issue is the stock tires are to tall so if you are buying tires you can fix this then of course.

Got it, I thought it was the other way. What size spacer would be needed, and what's the maximum diameter tire that will fit in a SN95?

Can't you just put a wheel on and check clearance? Last time I did this stuff, some guy input my stock specs and threw different wheel an tire sizes at me. This was in the EU so don't know if such programs are in the US for free info distro.

I could, if I had both cars in the same place with a jack and tire iron. I'm not entirely sure how to measure at that point either ... anyways I think it's a non-issue. Was going to see about giving them to my mom but she wants black wheels.
