G-Force T/A Tire Spin?

I have a horrendous problem with tire spin.

Tires just spin, no squealing until tire heats up for the most part.

I don't trust these tires on circle ramps, feels like I'm about to slide off road at even 35 mph.

Anyone have any comments on Goodrich G-Force T/A's? I think they're horrible.

Everything else is perfect about the car though.

Any suggestions on new tires?

Not familiar with those tires at all. Question ? Seeing your mods on that 99 GT ... How are you putting 360hp to the tire with just those mods???

Sorry about an omission, I have other engine mods I'm not sure about, Me and my mechanic have been trying to figure it out.

I bought the car off a guy who knows nothing about cars. He bought the car from his ex brother in law who had done some mods. Haven't been able to figure everything out atm.

Turns out there are way more mods than I was told about or can see so I listed what I know for sure, but there's much more that I'm trying to verify.

Lol so have you dyno that thing to come up with 360rwhp. Not to be a ******* but I hate when folks come up with HP numbers out of left field.

I had those tires on my car when I first got them they gripped very well for me. Is your car aligned?

I'm not sure. It handles fine though.

Maybe tires aren't my issue

Did you have any suspension mods?

Re: G-Force T/A Tire Spin?

My Geforces have served me pretty well. Mine are getting on to the end of their life, so I can chirp in third pretty well if I try, but when they were newer they gripped well, even when suspension was stock.

No my suspension was stock when I had them. When you feel like your going to slide off the exit on ramp is it your front or back end getting loose?

Are they the KDW's, KDW2's, or Drag Radials? Here's what they look like:

What size tires on what wheels?
Something like 275/40's on an 8" wheel will have side wall flex and feel just like what you say. Had this issue with the same tires in that size on 17x8 6 Bar wheels

Feels like both front and back. Like the whole car would just slide out.

Re: G-Force T/A Tire Spin?

I'm not sure if the KDW's were discontinued or not, however, I think I heard the same thing once as well. I know that the KDW2's are still in production and are a bada$$ tire!! I've heard of people having problems with the KDW's though.
