Exhaust help

Think I'm gonna just do exhaust for now. My options aren't to wide.

Mac LT headers

Mac o/r prochamber
BBK o/r h pipe All shorties
Pypes o/r h pipe

What's the best mid pipe I'm gonna run Mac headers either way, need help on the mid pipe then into SLP lm's.

Going with LT then shorty mid pipe will slp cat back bolt right to the shorty mid pipe?

And running o/r will turn my CEL on right? How can I get that off afterwards?

Re: Exhaust help

The cat back will bolt up fine. And chances are your CEL will come on. You can use MIL eliminators but i would recommend getting a handheld tuner from American Muscle. That will allow you to tune your car for the mods and clear out your CEL. As well as let you read CEL codes and datalog

Would it be all right if I ran it without a tuner for a while?

Re: Exhaust help

Yeah, it would be fine for a little while. Youd just have to look at the CEL lol

I'm getting an SCT x3 from Americanmuscle.com
They give you free BAMA tunes for life with your purchase of the tuner and you fill out a form when you order and they make 3 custom tune files based on your mods that they load onto your tuner. When you add more mods you just let them know and they create new tunes for you.

If you are stuck on going with Mac LT headers, then I'd suggest doing the Mac mid pipe for figment issues!.. And I would strongly suggest getting a tuner as soon as you can!..

This could be a really stupid question but when the mid pipe says "off road" does that mean you can't have cats with it? I'm pretty new to all this so take it easy!! Haha!
