Good price

Hat would be a good price for a gt with these mods and 230,000 miles? Mods- lowering springs, wheels, clear head lights, blacked out tail lights (I also have stock ones), flip up sun roof, under drive pullies, bigger throttle body, cold air intake, 2.5" o/r h pipe with cut outs that you can open and close, 2.5" flowmaster car back with 3" tips, upper and lower control arms, short shifter, 4.10 gears, mosier axles, grill delete, spec 2 clutch.

That's a lot of miles. Few people would want to buy a car with 230K, especially a modified Mustang. But, If it's clean and well taken care of, who knows. What year? Condition? Pictures?

I'm going to assume he is selling as he said "blacked out tail lights (I also have stock ones)". Mustang936, are you from Conroe?

Forgot to add that is a 99, custom paint, but is also has cracked windshield and torn leather front seat, if I could just have a reasonable price to offer him it would be much appreciated

Looks clean. If the motor's been taken care of then you should have no problems. Yeah, I'd say 3500-5000 would be fair.

Re: Good price

Looks good, without a test drive I might offer 3000. If I drove it and it's good, could be bought at a higher price I bet. Miles aren't terrible, the 4.6 mod motor, if maintained, has proven to be a pretty tough engine.

Also, cracked windshields happen all the time with lowered cars.. Especially in cities. I have tons of cracks and chips in my windshield. I gave up on replacing it because last time I replaced it I was on the road maybe five minutes and a huge rock hit it... -.-

Re: Good price

i'm in NY, but if i were you I wouldn't pay more than 3500 bucks for that car.

over 200k is A LOT of miles for any car, and you are going to have to start replacing and rebuilding no matter what

i bet you can get a clean one with less than 70k miles for less than 7k bucks

I would buy it at all.
It's just going to be a money pit over 200k miles you will start replacing everything on it that's a lot of miles on a motor/trans if you do buy it you will have to replace a lot you would be in it way more than its worth

4500 is too much. Maybe 3000 for that car. With $4500 you can't get one in the mid to early 100,000s. A friend of mine just paid 4700 for 00 gt with 120,xxx a few weeks back

I think 2,500 to 3,000 would be a ok price but like this guy before be said you can find a mustang with around 100,000 miles for 4-5k
