Yeah I may be needing some new brakes soon, I didn't exactly want to pay a ton of money for them too, this hopefully will be legit haha

I can't say anything about any personal experiences but from what I've heard SSBC brakes and their kits are pretty good

i would try to find some cobra/mach1 front calipers/rotors/brake lines. That would make a BIG difference vs keeping the same smaller rotors.
