That's about it unless you start removing weight from the vehicle, a a slightly more free flowing exhaust, I.e. axle backs

Re: Upgrades

I've heard flow masters restrict airflow to get the sound, which isn't too impressive itself either

I don't know how that works when hushpowers are straight through mufflers with respnators. In fact I dont at all understand how a muffler could make more noise AND be more restrictive. Granted I don't know everything by any stretch but that just sounds a** backwards

Re: Upgrades

not saying its true, just what I've heard before. but regardless, i like the sound of magna flows better than flow masters so i'll probably go with them when i get the cash

It depends on the muffler type. the straight through type muffler is not restrictive at all. It's when you get the mufflers that make the exhaust do a 90+ degree angle that it gets super restrictive

Re: Upgrades

hey guys,
im planning on my exhaust purchase soon... mac prochamber or o-r H pipe and new cat back system.

have any of you had or heard about the mac cat back or Dynomax Ultraflos. i like the way they both sound(on youtube; not in person), and don't really want the fm 40's

both of these systems boast hi flow mufflers and performance gains, and the deep low musclecar sound i like, and are pretty reasonably priced.

any experience or advice greatly appreciated!
