Help

I accidentally tightened the nut on the alternator cap thing to much and it broke off, leaving me with barely any thread to get the wire on, and not enough togl get the nut to tighten onto it. What do i do!!! Can i superglue it? Or what??? I really need ideas! I dont know if you can just do that or buy another one orr what..

Oh crap I think you need a new one if it's your daily try taping it to get you to the part store to get another one and bring your tools to fix it in the parking lot lol

Yea... I have a BMW I can drive so thats not a problem.. I went to a Junkyard and got a 130 amp for 20$ from a lincoln. it fit perfectly and the only problem now is a SQUEAKY belt. but only after i put conditioner on it?! i thought that was supposed to make it Less squeaky. lol

Did you clean the pulley off maybe that's it lol now you can get a new one or performance one and have a back up! Nice never hurts to have a spare

I didn't.. how would i go about doing that? and i know! i want to get a performance one to keep up with my stereo, so then i will have a backup!

You could also have used jb weld. It's like super glue but for metal
