Go Pro On A Mustang

Has anybody ever used a go pro on their stang and taken videos cruising around?

You can mount it on the hood of the car if you want!

GoPro manufactures sport cams, like their popular Hero & Hero 2 cams.

Correct. I have a couple mounting positions. Here's the one you're asking about on my mustang.

And here's a little video I shot while I was experimenting with the camera in that position:
Be sure to watch it in HD!

Amazing little camera. I shot the above video using only a 720P setting but it's capable of 1080P!

It's pretty awesome. Can shoot 11MP pictures, can take 10frames/sec burst mode pics, can time lapse at many different intervals, have the option to shoot in 5MP as well. Recorder can shoot in many different formats like 1080P, 720P, 500something, and smaller. Accepts up to a 32GB SD card which allows 8HRs of recording time, battery lasts roughly 2 and 3/4 hours. Waterproof up to 197'. Is great at canceling wind noise up to 100mph. Pretty much shock proof and can survive anything you can throw at it. AND it comes with the housing, camera, and like 6 different adhesive mounts, and a suction cup mount... All for $299!

I have mounts positioned inside the car facign forward to see out the windshield but also see the shifter, I have it on the very front as shown in that video, and I have one on the driver side of the car on the rear bumper marker facing forward to where you can see both tires and straight ahead.

Do you have the remote for all those cameras? Heard you can control up to 50 at a time. Was thinking of doing something very similar to your setup cept maybe putting a cam behind the grille if possible and the others at points inside the car, so they can be ready to go at all times. Basically want a black box and remote to control them all with a touch of a button. No more arguing to a cop about who did what. Want to see what REALLY happened officer? I have video. Plus will make recording cruises and what not super easy.

The remote and LCD playback screen will be available sometime in April. I'm really excited. Also with the remote they're supposed to release an app and laptop wifi program to use the remote to control up to 50 cameras within signal range.

It's not "go pro" or "going pro.". The company is called "GoPro" and they make some of the best sports applicable cameras and mounts out there.

Visit them at www.gopro.com

Oh, not out yet; ok, thanks. I have such great timing, or Ford does, or GoPro does. Somebody has good timing!

Hero2; Motorsport pack just makes it easier to use because it has many mounts that are used on automobiles and motorcycles. And idk about eBay, but you'd probably get as good a deal or a better deal straight from GoPro, plus you get all the support and warranties.

Make sure that you get the correct casing, my buddy didn't have the correct I one on his GT500 and all you got was wind noise at any speed over 60 mph (we were on a roadcourse)
