Service Engine Soon -- What do these codes mean?

I own a 2001 Mustang. The service engine soon light came on two days ago. Today I took it to a local service shop for a diagnostic test. The results came back with two codes:

I looked these codes to be ETC Power Less than Demand (P1578) and Intake Manf. Power Control Stuck/Closed (P1519).

The auto shop said they could not do anything about repairs and told me to visit my Ford Delearship.

Can anyone tell me what these two codes mean? Is there an immediate problem with my Mustang? Should I take it to a delearship or should a standard mechanic be able to fix my car?

I'm not a mechanic, and I could really use some advice from an expert.

Well I'm not an expert but I think I can help. Basically from the codes I assume that one is being thrown because of the other. The ETC stands for electronic throttle control and the other code may be caused by a clogged PCV. The PCV is a hose that runs from your throttle body/ intake manifold to the top of your passenger side valve cover. Try cleaning this line and remove the neg terminal on the batt for 30 sec ( this clears the computer and removes any old DTCs and CEL) and see if this fixes ur problem.
