do 17x9s pull?

I'm looking to get some 17x9 bullit to replace my stock 17x8 in the front and was wondering to the pull your car all over the road or are they pretty stable? and also my car is lower on h&r should I have any rubbing problems?

If u get 275 then there's the possibility it will rub in the front when u crank the steering wheel one direction.. Other than that it shouldn't rub. I used to have 275s they don't pull. I don't understand exactly why u think they would pull but maybe I just don't completely understand ur question

my dad had put some bigger tires on his stock wheel when he had a 96 gt his wheels would pull especially when he would drive in a road that was worn down (we live in louisiana with the crappiiest roads) so I didn't know if width would effect the way it drives

He means like with ruts in the road, will the tires follow those, skinny tires don't have that issue.

driving wise I have no real issues, other than on crappy roads where any tire would just about do the same

Re: do 17x9s pull?

Yah I have 245's on my 17x9's and they don't have any issues...they do rub on the swaybar at full lock in either direction but that's expected with a wider tire.

Some of the car "pulling" may be caused by increased bumpsteer. The bumpsteer is greatly increased after lowering the car..it causes the tie rod ends and control arms to travel at different rates. H&R SS's really drop the car so you definitely get some bumpsteer lol.

Ohh I forgot to tell you I have 17x9 cobra r wheels all around on my car. 245/45 r17s is what it has on all wheels. Planning on doing the same wheels with the 245s just up front and 275s on the backs

yeah I loved the staggered look. the wider tire in the rear makes all the difference with looks
