pi swap

I drive a 96 gt non pi and I found a steal of a deal for pi heads and intake off an 02 crown vic for 70 bucks and before I do the swap I'm wondering will it run on a non pi computer if not what should I do suggestions would be grreat

No the is no benefit to swapping out your ecu. You can actually run a 4v or 5.4 swap with our computers but they would need tuned.

+1 swap em and have fun. Try looking into getting stage 1 or 2 cams to add to the fun.

Next I need to deal with traction issues lol any suggestions? I was spinning thru first and second at opening day test and.tune lol

Re: pi swap

When I ran my car I just ease into off the line. Try and find a happy medium between a little tire spin but not leave so soft as to bog. I have 430 gears and was able to get a decent launch it was the 3-4 shift that did me in lol

Lol I bought my car with 74xxx for 2900 lol it has run great I'm running into almost gone 3rd gear now haha
