Instead of showing a list of what u want to buy tell us what is already done to your car. Then we can recommend a list of upgrades to your car. One piece of good advice is to always remember you need a better suspension before you add horse power. Suspension can do more than hp gains sometimes.

You have a good list if you are going to buy and install everything at once , if not I would pick a specific area to start engine, suspension, exhaust , do one area at a time it makes things a lot eaiser

I think some early 99's came with non PI motors they didn't switch till half way thru the production year maybe that's why the intake is on his list

Re: My new list pt2

I would tell this to anyone... Some of the best car builders will even tell you you need to build a car from the back to front. Rear end, tires, suspension, tranny, clutch, brakes, then get into big power with the engine.

The smart way to build your car is to start with the rear end and work your way to the engine. The engine, HP, torque is the fun part obviously, but remember the power in your engine goes through the driveshaft to the rear end, axles, and to the wheels. Your tricked out engine will look real stupid sitting there with a broken axle, or your driveshaft snapped off.

I think a car breathing and exhaling is very important and will give you better throttle response and more horse power

Not 100% sure on that thou
Just to clear that up...all the 99-04 2v 4.6L's had the PI components. 99 was the first year to start using the PI engine. The 96-98 2v's were not PI.

My stock platic one cracked and I now have this one. There is NO increase. It is the same exact piece that was put on the 01-04 GTs from the factory

Re: My new list pt2

Add a SCT tuner to that list as well. Hell, you could combo it with the gears and get the bearing kit and gear oil with it as well.

I agree! But that's me. I am building from ground up: suspension-done (all bushings); steering-done; exhaust (can handle super charge)-done; wheels (285 nittos T555)-done; Tuned to live wire-done; now the engine-researching PI Head; 24lbs EV6 on hand.

Oh, still Savin for the 3:73 upgrade. No 4:10s here.

After all, it's a daily driver with pizazz (one day).
