Which is louder??

Which are louder Flowmaster's 40's or 44's???
Looking to purchase just the mufflers for my 02 GT? Any help is appreciated.

I believe the 40 series is, which every one has less baffles is louder

44s r louder.. They r smaller than 40s.. Look at the flowmaster sound chart..

Yea idk how they pick the numbers.. The 80 is louder than the 50, 60, and 70 but quieter than the 40. Weird

I have an off road x pipe and 40s it's sounds good at WOT and low rpm 2500 under load sounds bad tho

S197 3vs and SN95 new edge 2vs sound completely different though

Ya but the flows kinda all sound the same, 2v are deep and I think it's mostly because of the placement of the muffler

Everyone's got their opinion.. But I disagree.. I think that flows sound completely different on the 2v vs 3v.. And the placement of the muffler doesn't effect the sound. It's the motor

Not to start an argument or say I disagree but have you ever heard a 3v with 40 series?? I have never seen another 3v with em, everyone buys the axle back American thunder which are 60 delta flows. I'll post a video tomorrow and I'll let you hear it.
