Mach Audio

Was just wondering if anyone had problems after replacing their factory deck to an aftermarket deck.. I'm just not getting the sound quality that I want or the bass that I need... Think of gutting the whole system and starting from scratch.... Any suggestions??

Re: Mach Audio

Proper harness and you need extra RCA cables to plug into the back of your new head unit to carry the signal to your rear amps.

Make sure there to get a harness for the rear amps. If you do plan to scrap your system, I would put component speakers up front and coaxial out back.

Best buy sells the right harness I've bought it there for my Mach 1000. Replaced the unit for a clarion DVD unit and it didn't sound good.

I keep a blank cd and when it doesn't eject stick the blank in on top and give a quick pull, works every time

Id love to get a new deck but I like having the in dash 6 disk...which cd's occasionally get stuck! I remember back in the day they used to make a flip face deck with a cd cartridge. I don't remember how many it held, but are there decks still like that out there?

I like the look of double din head units which is what ours are, but I agree with gutting it and starting from scratch. I have a clarion dd head unit with an alpine 4 channel amp and kicker components and it sounds great even with the top down and I have a mono alpine pushing a 10 in the trunk ( sucks mustangs have no trunk, but I built the box so it doesn't take much space. But gut it.
