Loud knock or clanking noise

This morning I started my car let it warm up, got gas, went to get on the freeway and while I was accelerating a loud knock or clanking noise started. So I pull to the side and it slows down as the car does and still is making the noise so I check under the hood it sounds to be from the back of the engine or maybe the transmission. I just did my clutch in November and my boss said it could be a bolt from the pressure plate worked itself lose or my tranny is low on fluid or my trans could be messed up. I have oil I checked that it could be a rod Idk if any one has any solutions or ideas of what it could be let me know. Tonight I'm dropping the trans tightening the p plate bolts and topping off the fluids if there is anything else i should check let me know. Thanks for reading and or responding!
