Performance Tune

Ok I've been running the street tune now since mid fall and today I went back to the 93 octane tune. I noticed some differences. First I really noticed was the sound of my exhaust at idle and going through the gears. When I really accelerate the popping I got from the 87 tune has gone away. It just sounds cleaner through the rpms......is that normal? But I really noticed the power difference, its not just in my head it really felt more powerful in the 93 tune. If you don't have a tuner you need to he one they really help these cars.

I ran the Peformance tune since I got the tuner last month. I loaded the 93 tune last week and she woke up a lot!

No sir, not in your head!! Those higher octane tunes really put some fire in its a$$. I can chirp mine in 4th with my 93 tune, not even close in a lower octane

Re: Performance Tune

Yah the difference between the street/race is crazy.

They really make the a/f, throttle response and spark adjustments aggressive as hell.

Can't wait to get my 91 race tune in the car..

Re: Performance Tune

Can you customize the tune to your specific mods?
