Well that's quite a general question. What kind of power are you looking for? There's roots type, twin screw, and centrifugal. All three types have different characteristics to them. Usually the twin screws and roots types whine more. YouTube videos with Kenne bell GTs and Vortech GTs along with terminator blowers on a 2V. Most aftermarket companies have a kit full of everything you need, if not then at least a list of everything. But as a guideline, you're gonna need a fuel system built to handle the needs of the blower, preferably a forged bottom end, a stout drivetrain, and a tuner. You can get away with a stock bottom end and drivetrain but don't expect them to last forever.

Re: Super charger!?

you could sell yours and buy an 03/04 cobra. They are built very strong, can be had for 15-20k and have a GREAT whine sound (factory supercharged with a roots blower)

The problem with buying a 15k terminator is MOST of the time they have a good chunk of miles on them. Realistically if you wanna buy a terminator with decently low to really low miles it will cost ya around 20+. I have a could buddies who just bought a pair that spent 19k and 20k and they have 40,000 on the clock and are bone stock. They are excellent cars and very fast stock but they retain to much value and are still a little pricey in my opinion. Considering you can buy a 99-01 cobra or 03-04 Mach 1 for about 10k and build the bottom end, fuel system, and slap a kenne bell on them and push 600 to the wheels and still be less then a low milage terminator.

Re: Super charger!?

very true, 18-20k is what it will take to get a clean 03/04 cobra for sure

Re: Super charger!?

OP look into centrifugal chargers. I have a vortech and some others are paxton and procharger. They make great power and you can generally piece kits together fairly cheap. I got my setup used for right around 3 grand

One sold in Calgary for 19k with 50k km on it. great condition, no serious mods. only reason i didn't get it was someone beat me to it. i got a mach 1 stupid cheap in Calgary. there are deals up here but you really gotta dig for them and ve ready to pull the trigger at a moments notice. my mach 1 had 3 other views later in the day. drove it to a shop paid them 20$ to put it on a lift and look under it. $40 for a record check and then handed him a cheque.

You've gotta start somewhere. I was saving for two years for the down payment on my mustang. It was worth it.

Re: Super charger!?

yea I saved all through college to get my 03. It was either that or invest thousands into a V6 that would not return me ANYTHING on selling and just cause me more problems than it would be worth.
