maf sensor screws - Mustang Evolution

maf sensor screws

I'm not sure if its a special dealer tool to remove these screws. I know there close to a T25 bit but its raised up in the middle, so the bit would have to have a small hollow hole in it? Anyone else had the same issue?

Mine must be different then, a regular bit won't go all the way down due to the raised center of the screw.

Those are ”tamper proof” torx bits you need the proper driver with the recessed center for those..

Not sure what auto parts stores will have them.im sure they might,but a home depot or lowes should have them...you can get a small driver set for probably $10-20..

If you have a autozone around you go there to there little tool isle and look for a security tor bit set i had the same problem but the whole bit set came with i believe 20 random bits and it was only like 7 or 8 dollars

Lol yea i know how that goes im stationed at fort hood and there's about 11 different auto part stores within a 15 mile radius

Yeah i picked up those tamper proof driver set today at autozone about 9 or 10 bucks, as well as a .44 mag revolver shift nob... Lol
