bigger injectors in a stock engine is gonna make your car waste gas/ foul out spark plugs/ run like shiznit (and not the good kind of shiznit either)

Why would you want to spend money on something that is going to do nothing but waste gas? Plus if you change injectors you have to get your MAF recalibrated. So you do all that work to go right back to stock power? Just doesnt seem smart to me

+1 unless you have failing injectors, and/or plan to build more power, there's no reason to swap 'em.

I almost positive I've got a bad one. At idle its got a hiccup and when I had it there's a bit of hesitation but if I floor it it goes away. I've changed plugs, suit and fuel filter, had coils checked and it still does it.

I wouldnt unless you have a SCT ECU tuner. the fact is a stock motor isnt designed for them, and even though you might not tear it up immediatly, it could definitly reduce the life of it. If you dont go with the ECU tuner, at least increase the air (turbo/supercharger/Throttle Body), heat up that spark with some msd coil packs. And if you throw the ECU tuner on it after all that, you will have a sick F'ing Stang

P.S.

If you have the tuner, you could do a 93 octane tune and pick up around 30-60 HP depending on your mods. you could adjust shifts in an automatic (if you have one), increase/decrease Compression ratios (for things like N2O, supercharger, etc)

So would it be best to just replace them with stock injectors from parts store if one is cracked or bad?

Re: what size injectors come in 02 gt

I agree, dont waste your money on crazy spark plugs or fuel injectors. Theres a really good write up on another forum about what the best plugs are for our motors. Also I read somewhere that we actually have 21 or 22 lbs. injectors but ford has it tuned to 19.

Dont hold me to that, I just seem to remember reading it somewhere. Can anyone back me up on that?
