But before I do can everyone take a look at te picture and tell me where the hell the tip went? Is it down in the engine now or could an exhaust valve have blew it out? Would it be okay to try to keep running the engine?
Looks like some serious detonation I would at the very least do a compression test...but if the plug looks like that I would suspect some damage in that cylinder

Autozone, Nationwise, O'Reilly auto should have a setup they can loan you to test each cylinder. That's some scary sht! Good luck man.

Did this happen kinda suddenly, or have you noticed performance deteriorate over some time?

That piece of plug probably found it's way through the exhaust valve, and lives with your cats now(if you have em). That is serious detonation. Everyone else here is right on track, follow their direction.

This happened quite suddenly. And I don't have cats. I changed all the plugs and it took care of almost everything in terms of misses and noise except for one thing. There is a slapping sound that sounds like its under the engine. Weird part is that if I Push the clutch down then the noise stops for the most part. Also it doesn't vibrate a ton except on low rpm acceleration.

I'm going to do the compression tests tomorrow hopefully. And if the
Compression tests come back fine then what?

Your apartment should have a military clause that because you are moving out of state you don't have to pay a early term fee and you get your deposit back dependent upon condition I the apartment. Talk to your recruiters...

He will only get bah if he's married or has custody of a child...not sure of his relationship status..single bah is usually avail but only if there is no on base quarters to provide, or they are of a certain rank and are approved to live off base. Didn't realize we were talking about coasties though it may be a little different with bah but I don't think so.

Hope you get this fixed soon cole I love your car and it pains me to know that it's down ATM.

Sadly, my military clause in the apartment agreement only covers if I am called into service and deployed. Not if I join the CG and leave. My lease still stands. :/

And I appreciate the support. I want it fixed. I'm working hard.

There's also some sort of act that any debt you have, the interest rates must legally be reduced to 6%.

Maybe it's called the fair credit act? Something like that

Then the military clause should hold true because you will be ordered to a station...your orders to move to that post and away from your home give you the right ti break that contract. I know someone :shifty eyes: that used to write people fake orders saying they were moving to another state on orders to be able I break leases. Deployment is not the only thing to enact the clause although you may not be able to do it untill you get your permanent duty station orders...
