| exhaust (x pipe and flowmasters) or tune?
Right now I can do one or the other. What should I do first, what gain will be most notable? What will I notice?

Do exhaust first....then tune because if you do a tune first you will have to do a tune after otherswise you will have a check engine light

I think I'm going to go with that to start, my car is going to be quicker?

I would get my own handheld tuner first if I were you. No need to pay someone else to do the tuning for small boltons like the exhaust you're getting.
Yea that shop may be giving you free tunes with every mod but what about when they're closed or when that one guy quits?

And I don't plan on doing any mods after exhaust until its paid off in 4 years. Right now I'm looking for what I'm going to get the most out of, then I'll do the other. ---------- Post added at 06:35 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:28 AM ---------- Quote: |

Simply plug it into the OBDII port and just start tuning. Very simple. Recommend strategy tune NOT custom tune. Leave that for the experts.
Fair enough, he owns it so he'll be there a while but if you buy your own handheld you can do it at your convenience and not his

Damn, so its as easy as telling bama what I want out of my car, they'll send tuner, and I just plug it in? Then later down the line if I get other mods that tuner will work also? Does it have to be re programmed?

It will as for some of the sales info then take you to another page where it will ask you about mods....cai/gears/tire ratio/tb/exhaust/intake/ all kinds of stuff. Fill it out and they will ship your first tunes already in it. All you have to do is plug in an tune.
When you get more mods you either call up BAMA or go to AM and buy a tune ($0.00 free for life tune) and they will send you the email again and you fill it out again!
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3, then they will email you the tunes

Is there anything at the end of the exhaust that I need or does this just connect to the exhaust tips?? ---------- Post added at 10:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:56 AM ---------- Does it go headers to x pipe to cat back exhaust to tips or do u need mufflers before the tips? Does it go headers to x pipe to cat back exhaust to tips or do u need mufflers before the tips? Super confused | Car back should come with tips I would think...everything should bolt right up to your headers/manifolds.

Ok that's what I thought, so the cat back goes right to the tips? There's no other piece needed? Where would mufflers go?

See these car backs include the tips mufflers and all from the hpipe back...of installing a x/h as well u would remove the h with cats and install that then install these directly to the new x/h

The first thing I did to my GT was an X-Pipe withe a set of Flowmasters Super 10 mufflers. I had the pipes opened up to 2.5in and put on 4in rolled tips. the car sounds so mean.

I was gonna ask how do you like that? Or did like?

Sadly after i totaled the V6 I was unable to retrieve all the parts from the nitrous kit. I am not sure if I am going to run Nitrous on my GT. if i do I will let you guys know.
