Re: What should be next?

Generally in stock form the mod motor in our cars will not show a noticeable change in horsepower due to simple exhaust because the stock setup isn't all that restrictive(except for the 5034 cats on the h-pipe).

You might pick up 1-2hp on a dyno from doing a o/r x or h pipe in combination with a catback exhaust. All catbacks are generally the same power change except for Bassani, which I've read makes 1-2HP more than most all other cat-backs. The only real difference you'll see is if you do o/r x-pipe, a non-restrictive catback, and long tube headers. But if you do that you're putting down $1000(retail prices; you can find good deals if you look hard enough in forums and other websites like CL)) or more on parts and you're gonna have to fight the LT Headers in the install.

Overall a full exhaust will net you a small increase on a dyno for the stock mod motor. But you won't really feel it.

But if you build your motor then the exhaust will definitely be more efficient and produce better results.

Re: What should be next?

bolt ons wont do much hp wise, consider lowering it and maybe wheels/tires to make it look better and handle better.

I agree that just a cat back wont net much gains, but a full exhaust will make a difference. Long tubes, o/r midpipe, and a good free flowing catback is good for 35-40hp and you will definitly feel it! Especially above 3000 rpms!

Yea it is but it's the only real way to get a huge power number for the mod motors
- get exhaust
- cai
- tune
- stance ( lower it )
- exterior mods
- then save for boost lol
- maybe some supporting engine mods for boost
