cobra bumper

Would I be able to install an 03/04 cobra bumper on my 03 GT with the factory hood or do I also need to install the cobra hood for clearance like the website suggests

You can install this bumper no problem did it on my 04. You simply need to drill new mounting holes at the top mounts further back towards the engine

Re: cobra bumper

it will work but it can rub a bit on the hood where the bumper meets it as said above.

the bumper is around 400 bucks I believe (plus shipping) and the fogs and bezels will be about 150 probably (or was back in the day)

lastly you need the correct radiator cover piece (20 bucks) and a running horse to bolt up.

Re: cobra bumper

also remember the chin spoiler is NOT CHEAP on the 03/04 cobra and you dont need to cheap out with a mach 1 version as it doesnt look nearly as good. The correct ones are hard to find as well.

The paint will match if you have the paint properly tinted by a professional. I added the cover so I could install a front mount intercooler.

+1

If you plan on taking your GT to the upper HP numbers then you will want a Cobra front as it allows a ton more space for intercoolers or extra piping. Plus it looks awesome.
