40th Anniversary Package

Yes and no. All 04 mustangs, besides Cobras, were 40th anniversary edition cars but only a few that came with an optional 40th anniversary package.

40th Anniversary Package

This a genuine 40th anniversary packaged mustang. You can see the cosmetic mods ford did to the cars compared to the regular anniversary editions. All it is, is an appearance package and a limited number plate.

A lot of people get confused about this. Mine has the 40th anniversary badge but is not the 40th anniversary special edition.

Mine's Oxford white with the tan stripes, though I want to remove them. I like the clean sleek look of a stripeless new edge. I don't think it's the anniversary package though. It had matching stripes over the hood and trunk. They came off as soon as I brought it home.

Holy thread revival guys, almost 4 years old lol.

Y'all need to read the first page, myself and a couple others cleared this up back then.

If you own a regular 04 v6, GT or Mach 1, your car was celebrating the 40th anniversary by wearing the 40th badge on the fenders.

If you own an 04 v6/GT in black, oxford white, or crimson red and it has the Arizona Beige stripes, colored folding mirrors, spoiler delete, etc. then it is a 40th anniversary edition car.

Yes you are correct. I didn't feel like listing everything, again, 4 years later lol.

It's drawing some interest 4 years later, anything wrong with having a discussion about it now? If we just dropped everything that had previously been discussed this forum would be pretty bland wouldn't it?
