Ceramic pads

Installed new ceramic pads with brand new rotors. On my front brakes .Now I'm getting a faint grinding noise and I can feel it in the pedal. I that normal for ceramics?

Shouldn't be. are they installed correctly? are you sure you have the right size rotors and pads?

Did you apply the grease on the back of the pads so make sure they don't drag?
I completely re did my brakes front and back with ceramic pads and they work great

I did not use grease anywhere on the new pads. I never have in the past.

Idk exactly what it's called I used it on the out side of my pad where it's touches the caliper. Does it sound like its dragging?

It was common for my pads for only like 2 days. After tht the noise went away

Yea if it continues check it out and make sure the 2 pistons comin out of the caliper are level with each other that will cause dragging

Did you break them in correctly? I installed ceramic on my mother in laws can an it said to do 20 stops from 30 mph easy breaking with 30 sec rest in between , not fast or emergency stops..
