Hey guys I was just wondering if my 02 gt vortech v3 supercharged mustang will have that blow off valve sound....or is that just for turbos? Or if if it would have a wastegate sound.

If i were you i would go with the v3 tuner kit.....you have to punch a hole in your oil pan if you went with the v1. The v3 comes with everything except fuel injectors, fuel pump and you would have to get a dyno tune.

Ya I like how the v3 is elf contained, but I also like the noisy v1's...

Re: Blow off valve

You must run a blow through mass air meter to get the sound you are looking for. You have a draw through set up with a bypass valve that is directed back into the intake piping. The difference is the MAF is after the blower and the valve will vent to atmosphere instead of venting to the intake. The release of air is what cause that distinct sound
