trade up?

So i have a 1998 Mustang GT that runs smooth and has a good amount of power to it and looks good as well. But I've always wanted a later 80s model foxbody 5.0. I love both cars but as far as my my 4.6 liter im tired of spending so much money to make a 4.6 liter 2 valve run just a little bit better but if im wanting to make it a lot better i have to almost replace everything on the internals of the engine to do so and with an old foxbody it is much easier to get the power and torque i want without having to do that. But if i buy an old foxbody i would have to spend a decent about of money to get one that's in really good shape already. I just want to know what you guys think? Should i trade up or just spend the money on my 98?

If you love your 98 looks wise and want a 5.0 compromise try to find a 94 or 95 it would still give you the good memory and feel of your 98 and the affordability of a 5.0
