Pioneer AVH P3300BT. That's the one I have. Crutchfield sells the unit and everything you need to make it fit right.

Damn! Our brand new compressor blew it's motor last night after we got the final coat f color on the whole front end. We couldn't clear it so now we have to sand it all over again. That's 8hrs of sanding and over $500 in paint wasted. Awesome.

Thinking about it a bit, can you use your car as collateral for the engine loan?

They won't use cars older than a 2004 as collateral. -.- Stupid policy.

But I think I may have found a solution to my engine problems!!!

My dad was talking to a customer he has that owns a body shop. The guy is all in to American muscle and builds some pretty awesome toys. Long story short my dad told him about my trouble finding an engine and told him about my car. The guy was pretty excited to Announce he has a 2002 cobra long block fresh from a machine shop. The person who originally owned the engine took the engine to a machine shop to get it worked then left it because he had no money. My dad's friend then bought the engine cheap to use in a foxbody project. Since then he switched to a Dodge project for his wife so had this engine sitting around.

He told my dad that he'll sell me the engine for what he paid for it.. Which was $350!!

I'm extremely stoked right now. Any tips on checking this out? Only red flag I had was "2002". They only made a few Cobras in 2002 and they went to Austrailia.. But it is an aluminum block, teskid I assume, and they are definitely 4v heads. Everything looks right.. Any ways to know what I'm messing with?

That 2002 thing is realllllly iffy. But people get it wrong all the time. I said 4.10 gears to my neighbor and while we were talking he kept saying 4.11

Maybe Nomad knows some, but this is some biitchin news! A quick google search - looks like it was essentially had 2003 Cobra specs. Also, the guy could have just gotten the year wrong. Maybe its been a number of years and he's had a few brain farts along the way. Either way, it sounds like its the DOHC engine.

My dad went to check the engine out. It had the Ford Cobra plate on it with the name of the person who built it. It's a legit cobra motor! And it's mine now!
