Looks good. Actually looks GREAT.

The wire tuck sucks... sucks a bag of d1cks to put it mildly. You'll have many hours into cutting/soldering/heatshrink and new looms but it looks amazing when done.

Also make sure you get your clutch dialed in and adjusted with a good quadrant and firewall adjuster if you don't already. OEM cable too, do not use any universal or aftermarket crap.

And I have a full aftermarket firewall adjuster and quadrant.

As for the wire tuck I might not be doing it. Maybe further down the road but now I'm just gonna have it running and tuned right and keep the bay clean and might take it down and try to tuck them later.

Which adjuster and which quadrant? I have found many quadrants to be *** and create all sorts of issues like the Fiore quick release I just pulled out of mine. The Fiore firewall adjuster I have is great though. The MM quadrant I replaced the Fiore with has made my car buttery smooth like my Cobra was.

If you are unsure of the age of your clutch cable you should get a new one too. Get the OEM one that Max Motorsports sells. A non OEM clutch cable will bind up, fray and not last very long.

I have the Steeda adjuster and quadrant if I recall correctly. I'd have to check.

And yeah! I went with OEM style cable. I heard a lot about aftermarket problems.

Anything else I should be on the look out for? I'm replacing pretty much everything.

Check the condition of your pivot fork and pivot ball..
My ball was crappy making uneven pressure in my petal..

Yeah install a clutch freeplay kit as well. Will ensure your TOB isn't riding on the clutch fingers and let you adjust the fork closer than you would without one.

I did mine for about the same price, made a write up on it but its different from the article on here since that is for a T-5.

The actual kit is nicer though, beefier spring and a metal bushing vs PVC. Its $18 shipped now IIRC but I'm sure the kit I made will hold up just fine and is working great.

Here's my $5 "kit" for a T-45/3650.

Only thing I worry about is that PVC wearing as the spring pushes on it. The actual $18 kit has a metal bushing and a fatter spring so this would not happen but this "kit" will work for now.

I appreciate the info and pics man! You're great.

Question though;
What is it actually doing versus the stock setup? Is it simply for the pressure plate disengage?

its just the cable for stock nothing pushing it away from the pressure plate..

Right. Well we should be getting most everything back together this weekend! I'll try to get some pics to share of stuff I haven't shown yet.

Still waiting on some parts however.

This is why I am building my Teksid from scratch so its a drop in and go affair. Which it will not be because that is wishful thinking but I can still drive my car up until that point lol. Although your situation is different since yours died.

Honestly in that situation I would have gotten a good running PI motor and just swapped it right on in vs letting the car sit unless you have it in a good garage and even then. I know what happens to these things when they sit. I had a bad time in my life for a few years and my 95 Cobra sat unfinished just collecting dust/crud and never was the same afterwards.

Yeah man. I get you. I had my engine out and ready to drop a new one in a couple weeks after it happened. But then I got early orders to coast guard basic and left for that for two months then for shipped to Alaska for my first unit some 3500 miles away from my car. And it took months until I had enough free time to do anything. Haha.

But not it's almost done!!

Getting there!! So close... Still going to have to replace many hoses and stuff to get everything looking brand new. But that'll be much later. For now I just want this beast running.

Lots of ppl report success with the Mishimoto. I have not ever seen the need to upgrade from stock unless your stock rad is already shot.

Mine is on a downfall and figured might as well upgrade it since I'll be pushing a bit more power with my new setup soon.

The OEM one is going to be super reliable and plenty of guys running built up motors in traffic in 100 degree weather at 180 degrees no problem. I did.

If your stock radiator is good, no reason to upgrade it at all. Not with what you are doing.

Remember the new edge mustang v8 share the same radiator, be a gt, mach 1 or cobra. They stock radiator works fine.

She's ALIVE.

First idle after the required cam break in period. Still open headers. A lot more work to be done!

Hope the link works!
