Mmmm, you can see the red metallic in there. Sunlight will definitely bring that out when she's all done. Looks great bro!

This finish is insane. It's like a freakin' mirror. I'm so impressed. So this is what a $10k job is like.

I know! I'm really happy with it. Especially since we did it all in the garage and just takin our time to do it right. I'm stoke! We're putting paper up right now to do the quarters, trunk, and rear bumper!!

Another couple teasers! This is while we're painting: this water-based paint is so cool. Has a blue hue when wet and dried within minutes. It's quite amazing, actually.

Man, you and the pops did a wonderful job! Do have a set number of coats you need, or just what you sanding in between tells you?

Usually we don't even need to sand between coats because we tack rag debris off.

But yeah; we see what it looks like between coats and my dad can tell what we need. For example we have 6 coats of clear on the roof but only used 4 coats on the doors.

Peeled the paper for a sneak peak. Front isn't done yet. Still need to sand more and buff a lot. But doing good so far! At least 50% of the way there! It's coming along well. I'm so impressed with the quality of this paint and the sheer amount of reflection. It's crazy.

Sanding the front!! Also took another pic of the back and looks awesome! Look at my reflection in the bottom right. And I was probably 10-15feet back!

You'll have no problem keeping swirls out of your paint since you can start from this point. You'll be able to use your car as a mirror for a long time

Is there anything special you can do to your front to eliminate chipped paint from highway driving? Like more coats, etc.

Dad says not really. He said 3M makes a film you can out over it or use a bra. However rocks hurling at a car traveling 80mph is gonna cause a problem regardless.

The clear 3M film goes a long ways toward reducing chips and dings.

Got some of the interior back in. Painted the same custom color as the outside. Can't really see the flake in it too well with the flash but whatever! I approve.

I like that wrap you have.

My stereo is last year's model. Might be the same one! I love how responsive the touchscreen is. It's never buggy or slow even with my 4k songs. It scrolls through it so smoothly. I was really impressed.

Looks sic bro!!! Insane.

About that stereo, what model?

Would I be able to mount it in my 99 with factory bezel?

Thanks for the pics.

You would have to change your bezel cause you have the split radio in that one..

Thanks. Where would I get the exact bezel I need?

Cole, your paint on the bezel may lead to my stereo solution.
