New intake manifold installed , little bit of a bog when i step on the gas.

So I just installed my new intake manifold. Everything looks like its right, no leaking everything looks fine. BUT, when i step on the gas it starts bogging or studdering. Do not know what it is, and cant figure it out. Ideas?

Recheck your plug wires. My intake is cracked so that will be my next project as well. Hope it all works out.

Did that, might need to triple check. But its not mis-firing or anything like that. Enjoy your installation.

Did you by chance damage the intake sensor?

Double check all your bolts for plenum air intake also make sure all your injectors are completely connected

Normally bogging is getting too much air right? Is it an aftermarket for more or better air flow or a stock replacement?

for my 98 they made the intake manifolds with plastic (where it cracked) now they have made it with metal because people were having a lot of problems. Its nothing special, bought it off ebay for 170. Metal plated now.

Check you connections if ask of that checks out I would check for vacuum leaks around the manifold and throttle body take some carb cleaner a and spray around and see If the engineepms change if it does there's your leak

I had the same problem when I did my intake. Turns out I had just routed the wires wrongly. Make sure your mass air flow is plugged in. Good luck.
