rev limiter? - Mustang Evolution

rev limiter?

So my car would not break the tires loose when hit the gas and bbreak I took it to the shop they redid the heads and.it.still has the same problem the mechanic.said someone programmed a Rev limiter so it wwould catch off the line instead of.spin tires does this sound.like the problem if so how.do I.deprogram it?

Sounds like traction control....it has to be turned off every time you start the car unless you turn it off with a tuner.

Should be a button in front of the shifter under the radio, what year is your car?

Traction control button is labeled. You probably have a two-step. Press the clutch and rev the motor, if you can't skyrocket the RPMs(i'd stop around 5k...) while out of gear then someone fiddled with the rev limiter.
