I paid $10900 for mine with 38000 miles, Magnaflow exhaust X pipe Steeda lowering springs cold air intake and some exterior things. So I would think It wouldn't be to bad.

I have an idea for ya! Get the Civic so you have a reasonable transportation. Then find you a guy that has a Mustang so you can drive it too. You don't have to date him you can put him in the friend zone and take advantage of his car. LOL if you lived near me I would let you dive my car!

Why aren't there any girls like you who APPRECIATE Mustangs in my town... All I see and hear are girls who think they're automatic, v6, convertibles are dumb because it doesn't look good are isn't fast, or isn't a manual or Whatever! HEY BABE, YOU NEED TO APPRECIATE THE CAR FOR IT TO LOOK BEAUTIFUL FIRST. you Cant just buy something and pretend its gonna be awesome when you won't put any work or money into the thing.. also i hate when girls get them because they're "just another car". thats so Frustrating..

Haha words to live by...I followed this theory in college and I made it lol.

There's nothing wrong with selling it and getting something else...I came real close to selling mine before I went to college since I'd only drive it in the summer and a winter friendly car was more practical. I ended up keeping it and storing it...mooched off my friends for rides and utilized the Milwaukee transit system lol.

Now I'm done with school, bought a 4wd truck and drive the mustang and my bike when I feel like it

Damn, I feel real lucky that I was able to buy my stang when I was 15...I'm 22 now and I've loved every minute I've had it.

I think I'll go out to the garage and have a moment with her again...maybe give her a big ole kiss...then wipe the smooch mark off with some Meguiars and a microfiber

Get another car if you have to, just not a Honda. When you graduate and can't get a job in your chosen field, remember you heard it here first. Be American, buy American !

A Honda Civic is the best beater car built IMO.

Honestly most of these responses were terribly long so I stopped reading.

Just letting you know if you drive your car nicely you can get decent mpgs. 23+mpg. And I've driven around NOLA a lot(which has the worst roads in the state) and my lowered GT wasn't trashed or anything..

I don't see the trade being worth it unless you just really want the civic. that being said; $10k is a pretty great offer for your car.

I would just buy a beater and take my stang off insurance and store it somewhere. My friend bought a $500 Civic that gets roughly 38mpg and requires no maintenance. Lol. And it's 4-door so cheap insurance. Im actually a little jealous of his find..

I completely UNDERSTAND that one. I'm not as old but I know what you mean by finally getting one.
