Exclamation Cold Air Intake Diameter?

I have a 99 Gt and I was wondering what the diameter of the Intake pipe is? I was looking at the JLT CAI's and then I found a CAI on ebay for $50. I'm going to find out the diameter of the ebay CAI pipe if I can. I know people say "you get what you pay for" but if the diameter of the pipe is the same, then what's the difference besides one having a fancy "JLT" label on it? I mean, a CAI is a CAI and if the dimensions are the same, then what's wrong with paying $100 less for the same thing?

Any input is welcome.

Thanks

Re: Cold Air Intake Diameter?

Yeah that's true. I have watched countless vids on name brand CAI's being dyno proven to add power. And I didn't think of the material part, good point.
