The exhaust on our cars is broken up into three separate sections. They are the exhaust manifold(header), the mid pipe(houses the catalytic converters), and the cat back that has the mufflers. Now to answer your question. Having "full exhaust" mean you have replace all three sections of exhaust. The cat back is a good place to start because any cat back will connect to any aftermarket mid pipe. Now when selecting a header and mid pipe remember they all aren't universal. Headers come in 2 styles: long tube (Full length) and tuned- length(shorty) which is the style that comes stock on your car. A shorty header mates up to a tuned length mid pipe. Which is what comes stock on these cars. Now long tubes require a shorty style mid pipe to accommodate for the extended length of the header. Now mid pipes come in 2 styles as well they are x and H style and both can be purchased with or without cats and both come in shorty or tuned length. That being said if you plan to do LT's you need to buy the shorty mid pipe at the same time. When buying your headers and mid pipe it is wise to stay with the same brand to avoid fitment issues. But as I said earlier just about every catback is universal. Hope this helps! sorry for writing a book.

If you already have an x pipe and it's installed and you don't have headers, then it will need to to be replaced if you decide to do long tubes.

You don't have to get the whole system if money is tight. You could start with the cat back first. You only need to buy the headers and mid pipe at the same time.

I believe you have an option to add the mid pipe to the headers. Just remember to get a catted mid pipe if you want your set up to be street legal and pass smog and what not.

That looks like a tuned length mid pipe to fit shorty headers...

My girlfriends moms driveway is a ****ty gravel road and I have to be super careful or I will, but other than that I have never had any issues. I drive crappy, uneven, pot-hole filled back roads all the time and have no problems
