Exhaust help

Sup guys. New to the mustang game. Got a 2000 gt on h&r racing springs. So it's a little lower. Question, I have a rear exit Mac 2.5 in catless exhaust. With h pipe. But I bought the magnaflow exhaust that side dumps on each side like the roush. Took it to a place and they would put it on cuz they were worried since I'm lower than stock and don't have the roush skirts that's I'd prolly rip the exhaust off. Should I just put it on and hope for the best or cut holes in my gt skirts? Cuz I'm not paying 800 for the roush ones. If I cut holes it would probably be good then right?

Where'd you get the side exit exhaust. I'm looking at doing it but don't wanna dump a ton into it. I've already got flowmasters and didn't know if it would even be worth a swap. I'd love the appearance and exhaust to but I'm at a toss up.

I have ran a side exit exhaust before on my v6. it dont matter if you have the roush kit or not. you are going have issues with the tips sticking out the side. all the side rockers do is make the car look more stream line. the sides sit lower to the ground then stock. they do not move the tips up. the tips sit in the same spot as if you ran with the stock sides. also the pipes sit under the body and makes clearing speed bump a real pain. good luck.

I took mine to a local exhaust shop and they custom welded a piece of my subframes with a hole and the pipes actually run through the subframes and they have no clearance issues. The whole job cost me about $500 and that was with the cost of the mufflers and tips.
