Sorry for the late response but No just wash and dry whatever youre going to plasti dip and spray on like 3-4 layers. But let it dry before you spray the next layer.

Ya don't sand or anything besides washing it I was the area with dish soap because it takes the wax off and gives it a good solid bond to the paint and it comes right off

rears were put on within 20 minutes cause i was not gonna drive the car for the rest of the day then i did the fronts in the morning started at 1pm and was driving the car by 3:45pm they dry really fast, i suggest giving it more time because it will be alot stronger, again i didn't do this with much thought and was just to show somebody how it looks, when i change my front tires i will probably take it off

I had originally planned to to my wheels this weekend. I held off cause I wanted to think about what exactly I would be painting. The back side was one of the things I was wondering about too. Guess I need to sit in front of the wheel to see what is really visible. Prolly depends which wheels your dippin too.

I was gonna do this too, but have since decided to wait. The cool this is that you can peel it off if you don't like it. I'm waiting cause I want to spray some on a price of aluminum and let it set in the sun for a few weeks. What I worry about most is getting chipped from the road and if it turns brownish from the sun.
